DKMT Consulting was founded in 2014 by Mr. Donald Harker. Mr. Harker has over 15 years consulting experience as a former Director in Navigant Consulting's Energy Practice; 10 years experience with Exelon Corporation in its nuclear generation and commercial divisions; and 2 years experience with Westinghouse Corporation as a Senior Reactor Operator simulator instructor. Mr. Harker has led small and large team engagements. Highest profile engagement to date includes the $22 billion contract reorganization of the the National Nuclear Security Administration.
Mr. Harker served on active duty in the US Submarine Force for 6 years qualifying as Ships Nuclear Engineer and 24 years in the US Navy Reserve in various capacities. His last tour of duty was as the Navy Emergency Preparedness Liaison Officer for the States of Illinois and Minnesota. In this capacity, he worked with local, state and federal agencies such as FEMA and DHS to identify critical infrastructure and participate in national, state and local exercises and actual events.
He is a graduate of the US Naval Academy in Annapolis, MD and Northwestern University's Kellog Graduate School of Management.
